The Milwaukee Art Museum is once again sponsoring Art in Bloom March 29-April 1st. This is a great opportunity to view the spectacular art in the museum combined with the beautiful art of flowers. Local designers, garden clubs and other individuals showcase their skills and either enhance, mimic or interpret artwork that they have randomly been assigned. A special feature this year is the "Iron Designer" competition held on Thursday night. Three skilled designers are challenged to create floral works of art before a live audience and within a set amount of time. One of those designers is our own Denise Gehrke, AIFD! We are so pleased to have Denise at Waukesha Floral with her unlimited skills and willingness to accept any floral challenge. She has won two award at Art in Bloom and will again compete this year.
