Sunny Day in the greenhouse

It was only 10 degrees when I came to Waukesha Floral this morning, but the sun is getting stronger every day! I noticed some beautiful lilac-colored iris sunning themselves on a bench, along with yellow gladiola blooms. Both will be used for a party this weekend. And I couldn't resist these red tulips. It reminds me that Spring is not far off now!
I like bulb plants like the tulips because they are so cheery and can actually be replanted into the garden in Fall, coming back for a second showing the following Spring.
Enjoy the sun today!

Getting ready for Valentine's Day

I am very glad that the groundhog did not see his shadow this past Tuesday. Hopefully, Spring will be early! In the meantime, Valentine's Day is on Sunday, Feb. 14th. We'll be open from 8-5 that day, in case you want to stop by for a few flowers for your Sweetheart. We are also delivering locally. Or stop by and look at our great new Spring merchandise.
