Refrigeration: The Florist's Behind-The-Scenes Tool

July is wedding and party season! Just like people, flowers need to be kept cool and hydrated during the warm months. Certain flowers such as Hydrangea and Gardenia can start to fade quickly in the heat. That's why we take extra care with the flowers for your very important occasions, keeping them comfortable in our large walk-in coolers, and even adding refrigerator gel-packs to boxes with bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. There's always something keeping cool in our big refrigerators... sometimes flowers, sometimes the delivery person!
