Festival of Flowers 2013

Kris Lombardi gets everything ready for guests
March 13th was the 4th annual Festival of Flowers held in Waukesha Floral's greenhouse to raise funds for the Interfaith Senior Programs.

After days of stark, gray and overcast skies, this day was sunny and bright, which filled the greenhouse with warmth and the hope of spring!  A delicious box lunch from Rochester Deli was served amidst spring flowers and the steady chatter of old and new friends.  Our own Denise Gehrke, AIFD and Marty Loppnow provided a design show incorporating the color theme of the year... Emerald green.  10% of  the day's proceeds went directly to Interfaith Senior Programs.  While the two seatings of luncheons proceeded, several of our employees were planting seedlings for spring gardens.

We had a nice time and if you attended, we hope you did too.  Thanks for helping us in this great fundraising effort for folks who give back so much to our community through all their volunteerism and hard work!

Love the green outfits (blue was the secondary color)
