Here Come the Irish Plants!

St. Patrick's Day is a true sign of Spring, and this year it's on Sunday, March 17th.  Couldn't resist these beauties in our greenhouse!  The first picture is a Blarney Stone planted with a delicate lacy fern.  Tradition has it that whomever kisses the Blarney Stone will be blessed (or cursed!) with the gift of gab.  If you have a friend who loves to talk, this may be the perfect gift.  At least while they are kissing the  stone, you may get a few words in edgewise.

Oh, and the beautiful shamrock plants are here, in both green and  burgundy pink with spritely white flowers.  St. Patrick used the shamrock plants to explain the trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the legend goes that a 4-leaf clover is lucky because the 4th leaf represents luck.  Blarney stones are just $17.99 and the shamrocks range in price from $8.99 to $17.99.  Here for a limited time!
