Planning an Autumn Wedding?
Here's a table suggestion for your autumn wedding. A ring of fresh flowers surrounds a large glass cylinder vase with red floating candles. Tall twigs give height to the arrangement but do not totally cover the view from across the table. Napkin treatments include a twine bow and red roses for each guests. The table is finished with a smart burlap runner (burlap is soooo popular right now!). You may want to use this type of arrangement on some of your tables and a different style of arrangement on other tables to add some interest and keep within your budget. Call our wedding and event experts for more ideas for your wedding any time of the year!

Here Come the Irish Plants!
St. Patrick's Day is a true sign of Spring, and this year it's on Sunday, March 17th. Couldn't resist these beauties in our greenhouse! The first picture is a Blarney Stone planted with a delicate lacy fern. Tradition has it that whomever kisses the Blarney Stone will be blessed (or cursed!) with the gift of gab. If you have a friend who loves to talk, this may be the perfect gift. At least while they are kissing the stone, you may get a few words in edgewise.
Oh, and the beautiful shamrock plants are here, in both green and burgundy pink with spritely white flowers. St. Patrick used the shamrock plants to explain the trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the legend goes that a 4-leaf clover is lucky because the 4th leaf represents luck. Blarney stones are just $17.99 and the shamrocks range in price from $8.99 to $17.99. Here for a limited time!

The Bling's the Thing!
The Waukesha Floral designers just love this fun ribbon treatment for weddings and parties. Our "bling" ribbon is lightweight, bendable and really creates a lot of sparkle when used on cylinder vases or candles, or even a table-top treatment as shown in this wedding reception arrangement created by Denise. It comes in a variety of widths and colors. Here you see both solid silver and silver with a black background. There are no gems used in this ribbon, it's simply the way the ribbon is cut that creates the "bling". The benefit to this is there are no gems to pop off and take away from the elegant look!
