Circular Armature

Circular, pink, fun! Our creative design manager, Denise made this intricate armature of flat pink wire circles meticulously attached together with thin gold wire and fitted over a tall fluted vase. She filled the vase with pink deco beads... tiny round beads of gel that expand when water is added... and designed the arrangement with full size Calla lilies. Her design took first place at the WI/Upper MI Florists Association convention this past weekend. Congratulations, Denise!

WUMFA (WI-Upper MI Florists Assn.) Amazing Shop Tour

Party week continued at Waukesha Floral! Friday was time for the WI-Upper MI Florists Assn. Amazing Bus Tour of local shops. The tour started at The Flower Garden in Hartford, then The Front Porch in Waukesha and finally Waukesha Floral for a progressive dinner. Entertainment included the family band from Karthauser Floral Supply and a friendly design contest among our wholesale florists (who don't usually design arrangements). Fun was had by all!

Festival of Flowers!

This is party week at Waukesha Floral! Today the Interfaith Caregiver's Network hosted the Festival of Flowers luncheon for 200 ladies in our greenhouse to celebrate spring and raise funds for their valuable programs. Here are pictures of co-chairs Midge McDermott and Carol Lombardi greeting attendees plus Marty Loppnow and Barb Butler drink plenty of lemonaid in the hot greenhouse (out of vases!). Friday will bring the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Florists Association to the greenhouse on a tour of floral shops and Saturday we'll host "Flowers Up Close" camera workshop sponsored by Art's Camera's in Waukesha. We're so happy spring is here!!

With names like Eggland's Best Duo, Chicklette, Peep Show and Bobby Bunny, how can you not smile at these cute Spring decorations currently awaiting you at Waukesha Floral?

Just in are luscious chocolate bunnies, filled eggs, bird's nests and other basket stuffers so wander in when you need a little lift and some retail therapy. We're here Monday thru Saturday from 8-5.
