Pincushion Protea |
Guess what? Today is Dr. Seuss Day! Theodor Seuss Geisel was born this day in 1904 and penned so many great books that inspired the love of reading in children and adults. It's also National Read Across America Day, so make sure you pick up a favorite book and read for enjoyment! In honor of Dr. Seuss, we present to you a flower that would be at home in any of his books... the pincushion protea is a tropical bloom that is a stand-out in any arrangement or beautiful in a shallow dish of submerged river rocks... as the star of the show! It's both long-lasting and fascinating!
